Founded in the year 2000 in the vibrant community of New York City, Ajkun Ballet Theatre has become known as one of the country’s most original professional Companies.
Under the leadership of Artistic Directors Leonard and Chiara Ajkun, the Company performs for thousand of audience members during its 48 weeks annual Season, Residencies, and National and International Tours.
Over 35 classic and chamber ballets are kept alive in our Repertory and an average of 5 contemporary creations
are produced every year to pursue the vitality of today’s creativity.
The outstanding Dancers that represent the Ajkun Ballet Theatre balance the skills of accomplished artists with the dynamic energy of younger professionals carefully selected from all over the World.
Blending theory, practice and passion, Ajkun Ballet Theatre is also home to a community that helps our youth reach its fullest potential through dance education programming, grant opportunities for artists and partnership opportunities for institutions.
